Access object properties(size, z-order, etc) without clicking on the instance

Hi, is there a way to adjust basic object properties (like size, position, z-order, opacity etc) from the scene objects list? For example, if my scene is cluttered and I have a hard time fishing out the needed object on the scene screen, or then a bigger object covers the smaller one completely.

The only way I see is to organize all objects into groups on a bunch of layers and hide/unhide them to get to the objects in the background. But it is inconvenient and quite strange that I can access their basic properties only by clicking on things directly on the scene. I guess I’m missing something.

Thanks.

I use the Instance List when I am struggling to click on things that are under other things. I often use its search box too, especially if there are lots of objects. If you click on an object in the instances list you can then edit its position, z-order etc. from the properties panel without needing to click on the object in the scene editor.

Thank you so much!

Yeah, just like I thought - the solution a single click away lol. As a bonus now I can see some trash assets that previously were hidden, as well as organize all scene’s assets much tidier.
