Hi could we have the ability to right click on the editor window and ‘add comment’
A yellow window appears and you type notes to self or collaborators eg ‘create extra route to lab!’. There would be a show/hide comments icon and you can drag them and edit them or delete them.
this is why im asking …this is my editor in my current game ‘Spindly’
I also wanted to know if there is a way to know how many likes you have on your dashboard.
(but i wasent sure if u can, so im not sure whether to make a topic or not.
Just me then! …ok, I’ll use post it notes and stick em to the screen …move them about as I zoom in and out. Pencil this one as solved and I’ll get my coat!
To be honest, comments would be pretty nice. I don’t see them being THAT useful though unless you are making some sort of kit, tutorial, or you just have an extremely high degree of memory loss. If you are collaborating on a project they could be helpful as well, but I’ve had experience with other game engines that have comments, and they almost never get used.
Is it the same idea as your previous request?
Hi @Bubble …yes, but I had tentatively stuck it in community…I tried again as a formal features request but it seems I’m in a subset of one here and so I shall never rear my ugly thread again!
By the way …great work on the extension thread!
Since I’m alone in barking for the bone here…I’m happy to personally contribute up to 50 gd.games credits towards the accidental development of this wholly unnecessary feature.
I’m with you in petitioning for this feature! Sadly, I don’t have 50 credits to my name so I can’t help with that…
