DarkTiles MEGATHREAD

Hi all forum members!

When i said level 14 (and 15 apparently) was crisping…

I saw all the video and i can’t keep me to remember 80’s years games , specially games Commodore 64.
I am not sure this type of games existed on C64 but i think it would be success in this case.

Yeah no problem! I have fun playing them and being able to show them back to the developers to either help them out or give them a look at how someone else plays their games. Very useful information indeed. I also look forward to your Rick dangerous updates!

Love the game! Beat the whole thing and here are my thoughts.
1: It needs more levels. I know everyone else is already saying this but just wanted to let you know.

2: Level 15 camera is bugged. The camera on Level 15 constantly forces you to make blind jumps, which hurts the experience of the level.

Other than that, the game is amazing! I really enjoy the different mechanics you made and hopefully DarkTiles turns out well!

Thanks, I am was trying to fix the camera I think by just placing the platforms in the center of the cameras.

Sorry for the waiting time the new dark level was not working with the background colors.

WorldStudios gave me the cool idea of letting other games have secret easter eggs inside of billboard in my game. I love your game so much and think it would be pretty cool to have a DarkTiles themed billboard in my game!

-remade level 15 for the camera
-fixed a bug when there was no ice tiles the player will be slower then normal
-added a built in update log

DarkTiles is now down for public.
Problem: no tilemap are working any more.

That sounds really cool! Congrats on releasing your first version — making everything from scratch, including the sounds and code, is seriously impressive. The neon one-bit style sounds unique too. Is it available to try out somewhere?

No and yes, I will just add a new tilemap and draw up the old one and delete the old one.
EDIT:I saved the project and reloaded the whole json and it worked again.
