I’ve accidentally moved events window and separated it from scene editor few days ago and never changed back as I’ve found it is more conenient as you don’t have to switch back & forth from event tab to scene and you can edit all stuff at the same time. Any chances this will become official layout?
In fact, that was the case for the first versions of Game Develop but I don’t think it is appropriate for editing big scenes for example.

This layout is nice for big screen, but I’m not sure it will fit in most other smaller resolutions 
Well, most people doesn’t have screens that are smaller than 1280x800 anymore at least. And few who do have resolution like that can move it back I think.
