Gravity on Particle Emmiters broken?

When changing the gravity on a Particle Emmiter it seems to break the whole thing so that no particles appear.

I had the same issue using actions under gravity under visual effects>particle systems>common. if you try using visual effects>particle systems>advanced you’ll notice there’s both options for x and y gravity which is used in the settings generally. I used these and had no problem afterwards.

I’ve run into similar issues with the ‘common’ particle actions acting up before. Switching over to the ‘advanced’ settings for X and Y gravity usually gives much more consistent results and more control anyway. It definitely seems like the way to go if the standard gravity feels broken.
