I’m mostly asking since someone from the Discord server, one of the community contributors told me I should ask to see if anyone’s figured out 2.5D or 3D pathfinding completely. Also because I did make a video showing off my method which involves using offsets measured by the pixel width of the first floor and then moving the other layers around using the width to guarantee that nothing will remotely interfere with each other despite being on separate layers hovering above each other.
Since I can only upload one picture of my works, I will see if it’s alsso possible for me to attach a link to an unlisted video showing off the entire system working whilst I go on about asking you if there’s a way to do this without needing offsets.
After creating the system that worked out the way it did, despite the weirder approach I took, I am curious to see if this kind of pathfinding is even possible in GD5 without the need for arranging offsets the way I had them set up.
