Above.
I’ve managed to create some 3D models using an AI tool I found via Google last week called “Meshy AI”, I’ve managed to save them in a suitable file extension and put them into the template, but the default game sucks, how do I create a proper game?
Problem is, at the moment I have no working Printer to print tutorial transcripts off YouTube.
You don’t have to print the transcripts. You can just write them onto Notepad or whatever Mac has, and then keep them as a smaller seperate window.
Unfortunately that’s not an option.
Can you attempt to answer the question please? How do I make my own platform game using the 3D platformer extension?
Sure. First one of my suggestions is to add spikes to kill the character; you can do this by adding a checkpoint, making it so that when the character is in collision with the checkpoint, you save the position of it into a variable, and when you hit the spikes it sends you to that position. You can also make enemies that go towards the player using pathfinding.
