How to get smooth movement on round planet

i made a round planet that my player character circles around in the physics engine (object gravity mechanic). the player does these small micro hops on the planet. I tried adjusting the hitbox, but I don’t know how to configure it to make sure there’s no hitches. How can I fix this?

Probably something wrong with your hitbox indeed. I think there’s an example like that, you should look at it.

thanks. what example are you referring to? i couldn’t find any that pertain to the hitbox.
