How to set up animations for pathfinding objects like in tank example?

Hey there,

I am wondering how to set up the Tank object in the game template “Pathfinding”.

“Animation 0” has multiple rows and the sprites switch automatically when the pathfinding object changes its direction. How exactly is this achieved?


That is a legacy animation method from GD4 and is unfortunately not possible any longer due to some compatible and performance issues.

That example is a port forward from GD4.
