I started a project thinking it would be an easy 2 week copy of Motherload… 2 years ago. Obviously, that was never meant to be. Scope creep happened, and 2 years later, I have a full, story based, Metroidvania demo.
“2d is easier than 3d” I thought to myself. “This will be easy as a single dev”. OH HOW SILLY I WAS! Art, animation, story planning, writing, music, not to mention legal things - copyright, trademark, NDA’s. It’s been a long road, and much longer yet before full release, but I’m happy with the demo.
If you guys wanted to check it out, I’d be more than happy to have some new blood give their feedback. Link’s below if interested.
