Hey everyone, someone sent me this trailer for a new game engine called Carrot Game Engine. It looks like a modified version or a reskin of GDevelop, and honestly, I’m not sure about its reliability or if it’s trustworthy yet. Has anyone here actually tried it out? It seems a bit strange/unfamiliar to me, so I wanted to check if anyone has more info before diving in.

Unfortunately, The lead dev has repeatedly made fake accounts on the GDevelop discord and here on the forums (including in the thread linked above).
The engine itself may be safe, but the lead dev is at minimum unethical by repeatedly making fake accounts to talk up his own work (therefore potentially misleading users), if not immoral. That doesn’t mean malicious, but definitely not something I want to risk touching if they worked on it. And thats ignoring everything else talked about in the thread.
To be clear, that engine itself is wholly unsupported on the forums here and the discord, so while you are definitely welcome to give it a shot you would then be basically on your own if you seek to make something with it.

Hello Sam, sorry not sorry, you’re trying again to fool people.
I have told you like 5 times to stop creating new fake accounts.
So just grow up, please, you’re just wasting everyone’s time.
But you can continue; I get paid for this, but I’m not sure you do for your investment in this fake review campaign.
