Hi. I just installed GD for windows and no matter what image I try to add, it says invalid image. Can someone help, I followed the Tutorials step by step and when I add an image is says invalid image? Thank you! 
Is a common image format (.png, .jpg, .bmp)? Maybe a screenshot could help.
If it’s… maybe there was a problem during installation (or download), try to download the “without installation” Windows option

Did you add an image to the object?
Double click on it in the list on the right and show us a screenshot of the window
