Low performance issue after uploading custom sprite

Describe the bug

I uploaded new custom sprite on an already existing object and animations (from 2D RPG example). Loading the sprites through “load file from your device”, the sprite are small PNG with transparency (less 100*100 pixels) created with GIMP 2.4. When I import the sprite, it take long (several minutes) before they become visible in the animation editor and project ressources.

From now on, loading the project in Gdevelop is also problematic. Also, the project take long time (several minutes) to start when starting a preview

Here a link to the project file and PNG

The project also show an when exporting it as JSON:

i cant seem to recreate the issue at hand.
When i load the project, i get these errors.

the project takes half a second to preview for me. Thing is, everything that uses a url rather than local file path fails to load. Im unsure how you have managed to mix url and local, if im being honest. And when i tried to replace the broken assets, it failed to do so. What i did to get it to import was going into the resources menu in gdevelop, and indiviudally deleting every broken asset. I then imported the cat asset back into an object, like NPC, and restarted gdevelop. The cat now appears in the game

If this was the issue…Well it works now. At least the issues i faced when i opened your project

I don’t know for the path, I created some assets from scratch with piskel in the engine (those without file type), used some other assets from the shop, and imported some png file created with GIMP (from my documents folder). I did not set manually any path. Is there a way to do so?

The performance issue seems to not trigger since I have exported the json, I cannot say why. Still, I got this warning when loading the project. This is weird, because I downloaded Pyrene once some time ago and it is not related in my project.

does this happen only in that project in question?

did you tried to use this option?

more for debug porpuses rather than solving something.
also, it seems like the “char.something” is from the gdevelop store but as an literal link and not an actual file in the resources tab, you can try circunvent that by deleting the file there and then re-importing into the sprite or change the path to the actual downloaded file.

(i know the flies are different, is just because i’ve changed before starting doing an screenshot)
