I am creating a boss for my game and the issue is pretty simple, as of now I would like the boss to stop and play it’s attack animation. Currently when the ray detects the player the boss sort of freezes then resumes its animation when the ray isn’t in contact with the player, so I can tell its sort of working. Im assuming it is a issue with the animations trying to play at the same time or something like that.
Maybe seperate the events a little and use a variable so when the ray is in contact the variable becomes true
When the variable is true the boss can stop and animation play
When animation is finished the variable can return to false
Also trigger once usually works best with animation changes
