I am working on a survival game with randomly generated maps. I have marked the maps using the procedural generation document form GDevelop.
Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on making the water and the darker grass (marshland) and then marshland and grass mesh together better.
sorry for the late comment. for the water, you could potentially make another tile, one that is slightly transparent and goes around the area of the water, so it looks like there is depth, and optionally, also have some darker tiles in the center of large bodies of water, and you could do the same for the darker grass as well!
it might be a bit difficult, though
