Nintendo Switch controllers aren't supported by gamepad extension!

Hi! I’m trying to put controller support into my game with the gamepad extension, and it works fine with Xbox and playstation. However, my nintendo switch controller (I ordered a new one for this) doesn’t have full functionality. The dpad doesn’t do anything despite having the same inputs as the xbox dpad on Hardware Tester and instead when i press the picture and home buttons they do some of his dpad inputs instead. I know nothing about javascript or how the gamepad behavior recognises inputs. If anybody knows how to get this working it would be very appreciated, i’ve been trying to find info about this but every other forum post just gets ignored or told to use xbox and ps4 which doesn’t make sense because a lot of people have switch controllers and i want my game to be accessible. Thanks for reading this!

As far as i know Switch controller is not supported by gamepad extension…so you should open a feature for this…

About how to fix…i dunno but you need a software that convert your pad to dxinput as for example ds4 do for dualschock4 (but ps controller are already supported by gd extension).
Alternatively (but i havent tested) if you have steam you may try to run gdevelop through steam and force the switch controller…but i’m just guessing.

as info i’m using a 8bitdo pro 2 and i have no problem in dinput but switch mode isnt working. The 8bitdo pro 2 has 4 modes of inputs
