GDev HAS shown ways to self-host and build the applications beyond using their build server.

They provide 2 free builds per day ON THEIR build server and anything beyond that requires a subscription. Pretty darn fair.

If you don’t want to use the manual way of building which involves command lines, use the built graphical option in the editor.
If you need export more then 2 builds a day, pay for a subscription.
If you don’t want to pay or can’t pay, then stick to the 2 day limit or look into other alternatives.

What has FSF got to do with anything? GDevelop is open source… the encounter would go something like this.
