Is there anyway to retrieve the name of the currently considered object when doing a “for each object” event with an object group?
I can’t see any expression to get the name
But there is a workaround: add an object variable in every object of the group (in the main objects at the right window, so every created instance will have this variable by default), call it “Name” (for example), of course the value should be the object name.
Finally you can test the variable:
For each object Enemy, repeat:
Conditions: The text of variable Name of Enemy is = "Tank"
Actions: Do something with the tanks
Conditions: The text of variable Name of Enemy is = "Bunker"
Actions: Do something with the bunkers... paint them? there is not much to do with bunkers :P
