Option to Edit position points for objects

I very much second this. In fact I can think of very few scenarios where you’d want custom points on all anims to share the same position, but I had tons of scenarios over the years where it would have been super helful to auto-generate custom points when adding new animations, without them sharing position across all anims.

To illustrate this further: Let’s say we are making a very tame Enter the Gungeon inspired roguelite that only has about 200 guns. Each gun needs 10 points for weapon attachments, spent shell eject, muz flashes, whatever. You gonna add these guns in gradually as the game progresses, so you can’t just drop them all in at once, share points to create them and switch back to individual point position. Instead, even in this very tame example, you gonna have to click on “create new point” about 2000 times and you’ll also have to remember how all these points need to be named each time you create one, cause you gonna click on the name text field 2000 times to enter all these point names that need to be named the same across all animations to work. Any typos or points you forget will need to be identified and fixed later. This all feels like a tremendous ammounts of bug-prone busywork that the engine could easily automate.

So yeah, I’d really like this option to add existing points to new animations, but not set their position across all animtions or change their position if the point already exists in another animation.

Adding a seperate option that controlls if point position is shared across all animations would also work.

This also has been brought up in at least one other thread:
