Performance issues on new mobile device

I decided to test my mobile game on a brand new phone and the performance is terrible and I have no idea why. On
my older phone it runs reasonably smooth, usually stutters a bit when it has just loaded. Max fps is set to
240, and both phones have refresh rate of 90hz.

About the game itself: It’s nothing too crazy, simple platformer character and some enemies. External tileset loaded.

Project resolution is 1280x720, and what I noticed is that when I changed the resolution via events to something like 640x360/960x540 the performance was much better.

Issue persists both in the web-preview and exported app as well.

I’d love to release a GDevelop game but if this issue persists it might be a deal-breaker for me.
I can provide any necessary details.

Can you share your phone model. (Clarify which is the old and new).
