Piskel creating corrupted files

Mac Catalina 10.15.7
GDevelop is: 5.1.154
GDevelop itself works flawlessly. No stall. No crashes.

Error: Piskel creating corrupted files
Steps leading to Error: Imported asset from store → Double click Object → Properties Tab → Edit with Piskel
Expected Result: Able to edit Object
Actual Result: Unable to edit Object

Comment: The file opens blank. Able to use buttons, but they don’t all work as intended. When saved the file becomes corrupt. Relaunching GDevelop shows the corrupt file name and asks if I want to continue.

Attempt to solve: Installed Piskel directly on Mac. Had to go through a lot of messages to activate Piskel due to it seen as “unsafe” by Apple. Still same error as before when trying to edit an Object after relaunching GDevelop.

Work around: Unsure if this works before installing Piskel directly on Mac. By not using the cloud as a save method, Piskel opens normally. Meaning all projects now need to be saved locally if I intend to use Piskel within the Engine.

 Hi and welcome here
Indeed, there seems to be an incompatibility between Piskel and the newest cloud saving feature.
Thanks for reporting!

Hi!
Glad I could help
