Could you try opening the project backup in GDevelop?
where can i open it?
It should be in the project folder, with the game “.json
” file. It’ll have the extension “.autosave
”
do i use auto save over manual save when opening the project?
If given the option, autosave will be the more recent version of your project when it was last run.
unfortunately It still freezes…
Sorry, I can’t think of what else it could be.
You could try the following:
- Clear out unused resources
- Start with a new scene, and bring in the objects one by one and see at what point it fails.
- If the previous doesn’t produce a failure, then start introducing the events.
Bear with me, i’m going to try and start from clean slate in a way.
