Selective area effects

Ok I don’t know if this is possible or not. But is there a way to create a layer or something that effectively "de-effect"s an area. Like for example, if I had a normal background, but everything within “x” area of the MC uses the “glitch” effect. Can I do that? Or the reverse, where everything is glitched, but within “x” area of the MC gets de-glitched?

I know it’s a long shot, but if it’s possible, I would love to know how.

The closest you could do would be to move objects to a different layer that doesn’t have the effect (using the change layer event action).

Outside of that, effects are currently layer-specific only. You cannot make them object specific or area specific.
