(Solved) Player hit animation not working

So i followed the gdevelop farming rpg video for character hit animation but for some reason mine is playing only once

You have to give more details and show us what you did exactly if you want someone to be able to help you

The “trigger once” with no action will not do anything. It needs to be attached to a condition and should not be used alone.

Also, why do you use named animation for the key inputs (w,d,s,a) and then numbers elsewhere?

Instead, when moving to the left, you could do a condition:

Player is moving
key “a” was pressed
Trigger once
action => play animation “left”

Player is moving
key “d” was pressed
Trigger once
action => play animation “right”

and so on…

But when the playing is not moving, play an “Idle” animation (I suppose it would be the frame 0 of your current animations).

I did as you said but the hit animation is still not working

You didn’t do what I told you to do in my first answer.

I wouldn’t use the number of an animation at all. I’d place conditions:

Moving left => play animation “left”
Moving right => play animation “right”
etc.
Not moving => play animation “idle”

okay but what about the animations which changes according to directions?
