(Solved) Q: Change an object at beginning of scene

Hello - Please excuse my noobness, but I have been searching the inter webs and still can’t find an answer or perhaps I am not understanding/framing the question correctly

1 - I have an Object that is controlled by the player

2 - I would like the player to be able to have the option to change the Object so that they can use a different feature such as to Shoot or to Enable a Shield, etc. This can be before and/or during a scene.

Thoughts?

Use global variables to keep track of features that can be utilised. Global variables will persist throughout the game until it’s closed - you can set them in one scene and use get that value in another scene. Unlike scene variables that only live as long as the scene is around.

Thank you for this. I have implemented a scene variable as a test and it works for what I needed.
