SUGGESTION: Importing Tile (not tiled) Sprites

Hello,

I recently chopped a very big map into **48 tiles (**using Krita) , so I could move around on an ISO map of campus. The first attempt is here (not very good)…

Having to import each one by hand (remembering where I’d got up to) was a pain in the bum. Also Krita’s numbering system starts at 1 and GDevelop’s sprite numbering starts at 0 - so that was extra confusing.

It would be nice to be able to say, option-click the Add Animation button and see the option to Add Animations from folder…

ALSO…

I’m planning on developing idle, walk, run animations etc that may have 20+ frames and I can’t see a way to (again) import a folder full of numbered sprites into the one animation. This would be a good feature too.

p.s Can I have both of these by this afternoon please

I discovered if I select multiple files I can import them into one animation (i.e across) but I can’t import multiple animations (i.e down).

You can import multiple sprites to an animation. I don’t think there is another way to import them, i.e. sprite sheets. When you add the character, add animation, add sprite you can import as many sprites as you need to and also all the animations of the same character in a numbered list of animations.
