The application cannot be updated

Hello! Gdevelop cannot update and gives an error message “Error while checking update”. What could be the problem?

make sure you’re connected to the internet (I mean your computer and not you)
which version of the app do you use? device stats etc.
I would recommend reinstalling the app from the Microsoft store if you still face the problem.

I am using program version 5.1.157. Mac os. If I reinstall the program, will the settings and projects be saved? Is it possible to install a new downloaded version without deleting the previous one?

I reinstalled the program again. All settings and projects are preserved. Everything is fine.

I believe the files will be overwritten.
