I’ve been making a game called JinglesField 3d based on a 2d game I made on scratch like 3 or something years ago, and I’ve experimented with graphics, which one do you guys think is better?

Hi DeadlineDev, I’m having trouble knowing what the difference is.
I think the outline effect on the player object(s)
I like after upate, looks more cohesive. Will depend on what background looks like.
zoom in, you’ll see a 3d outline, its slight but you see it better in multiplayer.
the backround is most likely just going to be water, as the game is going to be heavily inspired by battlefields open world vehicle warfare gameplay. Although I’ll probably give the waves an outline or make them cartoony to fit the aethetic
Its also with the ground. and probably the whole map once I use a full mesh for it
Sorry, I should have added my previous post as a reply to Bubble. It wasn’t a suggestion, it was pointing out what the difference was.
ohhhh, okay. Got you
Is your ground and wall textures going to remain as checkers or are you going to draw textures?
Its just a test map, ill def replace it in the future wuth mesh chunks for lod and stuff. And will look a lot better, but currently im messin around with visuals and feel
