Hi - I did this a few months ago as a 3d experiment but stopped at the point when i needed to turn it into multiplayer …as the blood had drained from my veins at the thought of messing about with variable ownership and testing in multiple windows.
So i’m unlikely to pursue this any further but if digitally placing wooden blocks on top of each other, and killing innocent 3d models from the asset pack in the process is your thing …then let this brighten your day!
I’ll watch the game, although I don’t like 3D.
I don’t like creating multiplayer games because of the inconveniences. And because there’s a lobby, and I want an unlimited number of players. For example, Slither io.
I’ve changed the collision checks to every fifth frame and there’s less particles. There’s physics on the particles so they were a little ram hungry- hopefully this improves the experience!
Multiplayer - its the testing in multiple windows that drives me up the wall - If i knew there was an eager audience for it then i might be more inclined …but the chance of two people playing this at the same time are pretty much nil!
Gdevelop should have a multiplayer system where you don’t need to play at the same time - You can join the lobby and see all the people playing it yesterday and tomorrow, and next year even!..i might suggest it as a feature request and see what luni makes of it!
edit - I got rid of the dice at the start and there was a problem that games were ending early due to the number of rounds variable not being set. This is one of those things where i come back to a game a while later and have no idea whats going on code wise but have a go a correcting things anyway.
