# Tweening Scale And Position

Hello everyone! Is there anyone who can help me do this? I want an object to come out of another object and tween it’s scale like the one on the vid

Thank youuuuu

With the object that’s coming out, set the origin to the centre (in the object editor).

In the actions set the scale of 0.0001 (I’ve had issues with tweening scale from 0) and create it at whatever point it’s supposed to spawn at.

Then create 2 tweens, one tween to the position and the second tween scaling to 1 from the centre.

Both tweens can happen at the same time, but they need different names.

Is this for the player or an enemy? Is it top-down or platform? are you rotating, flipping the object? Is the object going to move in the same direction or towards something? The more info you supply, the easier and more precise the answer will be. We’re all here to help. We just need all of the info otherwise we’re making wild guesses.

To add to what MrMan said. Here’s an example. This is based on a player. This calculates the X,Y position to tween using an angle and a distance. In this case 0 degrees and 100 pixels. You could use 0 for right and 180 or a point on the object depending on your needs. I have no idea what type of game you’re making (top down, platform) or whether you’re rotating, flipping or changing the animation of the object. You may need to calculate the angle based on the angle towards the player or enemy.

If the angle is always the same, you could use an X tween from the start position plus or minus the distance. I used angle in case you want to replace the number with the angle towards an object or the cursor.

Apologies for the lack of information. I’m making a top-down game. I wish to tween my objects exactly as what the video shows.Instead of three objects (Bees) I only need one to come out of an object.

Just like this:

EDIT: No angular changes or rotation needed. Although, I will keep your suggestion in mind. I will use that in the near future. Thank you @Keith_1357 and @MrMen

This works perfect for my game. Thank you
