Use a xml file for storage

Since a week, I search to use a xml file for storage.
Somebody with a simple tutorial ?

In GD5 and GD4 for web the format is json.

There’s no tutorial specific for XML as the storage conditions and actions are the same for both XML and JSON, search in the forum, there’re some posts explaining the storage settings, for example: [url]https://forum.gdevelop.io/t/how-to-save-progress/11344/1] :slight_smile:

Hi Lizard-13,

Thank you for this response. I don’t want use the webstorage.
It’s a shame not to be able to read a text or xml file.
I will try with json or http requests.
