I’m not sure if you can use a negative gravity with the plateform extension…
…maybe with the physic and top view extensions
use the physic for change the gravity when you use top or down key
on the wiki : http://wiki.compilgames.net/doku.php/gdevelop/documentation/manual/built_physics you can use negative gravity

use the arrow key for move left and right and top and down for change gravity
adjust the parameter for speed, mask and other thing if you need…
I use the top view (8 move) and the physic (for the gravity), you can use some trigger for test if the player is in collision with a deadly trap or a door
