A game engine made with a game engine nice
I wonder how that would work
Thanks I’m planning on making a scene editor then object support

there isn’t enough of these kind of games 10 out of 10!!!
good
Thank you! I’ve been getting a lot of great feedback on the game. You can try the demo here: Deck of Darkness | Play on gd.games
This is a trailer for my game which will hopefully be coming out very early next year on Steam. The footage itself is sort of outdated now, as it’s from a much older build of the game, but there’s still some good stuff you may be able to use.
Great idea! I’ve been working on The Vanishing Town, a 2D side-scrolling horror adventure game made with GDevelop. It has a rich story, voiceovers, and some quirky humor. You can check out the trailer here: The Vanishing Town Trailer and also play it on GD Games:
or find it on the Play Store!
For the showreel, I think a mix of individual game clips with brief mentions of GDevelop would work great!
Tried it. Very good. HOW do you do the damn art?! Is it painted by hand?!! I MUST KNOW!!!
I usually created 2D sprites using Free AI Image Generator - Image Creator in Bing then animate them by hand. I added a cinematic intro to my game using klingai.com. I should probably give lessons about this stuff because it’s a great way for folks with a $0 budget to create royalty-free assets for their games.
@Morgan does it do pixel art?
It will do an attempt at pixel art that usually isn’t that great so lower the resolution in a photo editing program to what you want. Save it as a .png with a transparent background to use it in your game.
OK I asked because im bad at pixel art
Trying to publish this game on google playstore but i am having some difficulties putting it up there. For now enjoy the trailer.
