I remember stating I didn’t want a money system in my game, this was due to me not knowing how money dispersal and a variable system would work. I’ve made a decision that there’s going to be a money system along with a couple shops that will be scattered around the areas.
I’m also working on the first actual area of the main game, the way I’m doing this is that I’ll be setting up the Map of the area first them moving to room design. This is so I don’t have that issue Team Cherry did where my map doesn’t line up with my level design.
Also I will be getting started on the First areas Boss, its part of my worlds mythology Its a Ancient bird called the Ustane. I’m not gonna go into too much detail with the mechanics of the game. I’ve started skipping out on lunch to sit in the campus I’m on’s library and work on this game. (I haven’t eaten lunch outside of weekends in almost 4 years thus skipping lunch doesn’t bother me) so progress is speeding up slightly
All in all I feel like this year is going to be very eventful for Wizards of Alverta, Thanks for reading and I’ll have more “eventful” updates soon, also if I get a chance I’ll post sprites for the Ustane when I am done with them!
