A free, web-based tilemap editor for Gdevelop

Hi there!

I recently added a one-click map export for Gdevelop in Sprite Fusion, a web-based tilemap editor I’m making. You can use the exporte map through the Tiled/Ldtk object .

The editor itself have all required features for tilemap making such as autotile, layering, collisions, custom tile attributes, bucket fill, tile randomization…

Let me know your thoughts!

That’s awesome! I’ve just tested the GDevelop export and it works well :+1:

Great job (it looks super slick and easy to use) and many thanks for integrating this GDevelop export. I guess we could probably add one or more links in the UI or the wiki to tell about Sprite Fusion in addition to Tiled and LDtk. What do you think?

Thank you for your message and testing the exporter!

Yes, it would be awesome if you’d be able to add a link to Sprite Fusion !

Great job !
I love sprite fusion !
So easy and fun to use !
I tried sprite fusion long time ago and requested gdevelop export and unfortunately back then nobody was ready to make it.

I noticed that the collisions does not work, for example in Sprite fusion i have Ground set as collision, but in gdevelop when i add the Tilemap collision mask object and enter the filter Ground nothing happened, the engine is supposed to create the collisions, but it didn’t, something is wrong with the collision export.

I hope you can find a fix for this <3

Thank you for testing it! I’m looking into the collision mask filter, I’m gonna fix that!

That’s pretty cool! I might look into it next time I use a tilemap for a project that I’m inevitably never gonna finish.
