Allow to add copyright protection to my game?

Greeting, as a 9th grade student who make medicine-based survival game, i was wondering that is it ok to add copyright protection to my game because i don’t want other to steal, make a copy of my game

This is the main menu, the copyright text appear at the bottom left (it’s very off and improper so i need to fix it)

Copyright is totally allowed on games according to my knowledge. Usually, you wouldn’t need it unless other people would be using your game files like a template.

My game is under development, but the intention of my game is to be published on gd.game and itch.io, so my game would be web game.

There are settings that allow you to set the license of your game on itch. Also, while I don’t know the law to well in this, I think copyright is automatically given when you make a game/character/whatever. Could be wrong though

There is a extension called “Platforms Validation”. Add it to your game, then add these events:

I remember using that extension on one of my games because it kept getting stolen.
Although I recently removed, don’t know why though.
