Are Android apps Up to Date regarding security

Hello,

I’ve read this article: Almost 900,000 abandoned Android apps could get removed from the Play Store soon - Android Authority

So I’m wondering if I create a Android application - game, does Gdevelop uses the latest security updates?

and in the future, when there are new updates for the Gdevelop, will be there updates for creating Android applications ?

That article is about apps that haven’t been updated in over two years, not security related concerns really.
GDevelop already supports publishing to Android, both APK and app store bundles.

I understand that, however what would happen if i didn’t update my app for two years.

in that situation, is it enough to make a new export app for Android with the newer version of Gdevelop?
