Is there a way to turn off the snow layer effect on this site. It makes it incredibly difficult for me to focus on what I’m reading. I’m assuming there are others who would be unable to focus at all.
A little snow for the 1st few seconds would be fun but the constant snowfall is very distracting.

find this “file” in the inspect menu
and delete it
quick warning, youll have to do this every time you switch pages in the website or reload, but its the only fix i found outside of making a script

I’m on my phone. Using inspect would be challenging. I thought of using one of those filter that are designed for ads and other annoyances but I was hoping there was an easier method. I tried disabljng Javascript but that broke the site and I was left with just the headers. I’ll survive. It’s only a week or so.

I’d like a sun option - here in the southern hemisphere it won’t be cold or snowing. It’ll be sunshine, T-shirts, BBQs, ice-creams and swimming.

You can now turn the theme to light, to stop the snow effect.
But otherwise the dark theme will continue to snowing.
Snow generally melts around January.

I turned mine from Dark to Light to Dark and now it appeared!
Now I wish it hadn’t appeared!
As everyone who has watched Horton hears a who and lives in southern hemisphere would say…
“It’s snowing, in the summer!”
But seriously, there should be a toggle on/off switch
