Can't insert a variable in events using the button that's open the variables panel

Hello!

I’m trying to insert a variable using this button:

But after choosing the variable and clicking apply nothing happens.

I’m using Gdevelop version 5.1.163. Thanks.

Edit: the same problem in parameters:

The suggestions of preexings variables is working fine.

I was able to reproduce this error in version 5.1.163.

Restarting my computer and GDevelop did not resolve this issue.
