Nice game, I think you could get away with keeping one of either the sharks or the birds as a joke team, like the dolphin team from RedCard 2003.

Ok …so any claims from the developer that it works on touch screen …ignore them as I’ve just tested it and it definitely doesn’t shoot where it’s supposed to so …play it with your mouse …that works …touch screen…I’ll sort that out next week

I knew it was gonna be a hard match and that Spain is also very very good but they literally shut them down, they couldn’t produce anything!
Spain were brilliant! Fantastic team performance. I can’t really see either of Argentina or England beating them in the final. Norway …it would have been great to see Norway get to the final … England got lucky in that one!

most teams rely on a few players to score, france has mbappe, dembele, olise, england rely on kane, bellingham, but spain they are amazing at team play. it wont matter who gets the goal but someone always seems to. spain also only conceded one goal in the whole tournament.
I watched it in a Welsh pub. Other than the Landlady, myself and my son were the only ones there.
I’m done with football…why sit back and defend a lead with 30mins to play!
And what’s the point in me declaring myself fit to play …only to never get the nod from Tuchel…not even for the last five minutes of extra time!

I’m back at it, do you plan to upgrade the game more?
I really like the tacking feature as it adds another layer of fun to the game but after the update, I found it a bit harder to score goals, 1 shark seems to always be near the goalpost, so I just try to rush inside the goalpost.
The thing that bothers me the most is the way you select your other players. Maybe you can give us a way to do it with the tab/shift button and have it chance to the player that is closer to the ball or have it like Fifa were the player changes the moment you give them the ball. Or change automatically when you hover near them? Just ideas.
Also, a shoot indicator to calculate your shoot and pass strength and direction could really help when figuring out the controls, but I understand that if you want to keep it simple you may not want to add this.
Btw now with the tackling update, the game reminds me more of this amazing game called Capcom sports club that I used to play a lot with my bro. I suggest everyone to give it a try! Maybe you can find it in an online retro games website. 
I also feel that the Jumping function is bit useless for now, but maybe you can do what Capcom did and have your player jump with the ball and pass, shoot in the air!
Thanks DSM… Yes the third place play off was bonkers last night …it was as if France were under the impression that both sides had verbally agreed not to take it seriously …and it took them a while to catch on! Could have finished 28 - 25! perhaps Argentina would have made mince meat of us if we had played like that in the semi …but it would at least have been more entertaining!
I need to check that capcom game out…i need to try some football games out for research purposes. Not 100 percent sure which direction to go. Initially i wanted to do a very cartoony version of football …but with fighting…i could go the whole hog and add power ups and special moves etc, but initially i just wanted to create a physics system and play about with the logic - now its at this stage i possibly need a break from it!
currently for the player selection …if the ball hits a player then control changes
if you get punched over then control changes
If you are 160pix from the ball and control hasn’t changed for 2s then control shifts to the closest player to the ball.
or you can click on a player.
ive tried out quite a few different things for shooting …i did have a pass and a shoot button and a power gauge but then decided to just make it so you click where you want it to go. perhaps i should reinstate it as an option!?
There’s quite a few things that don’t quite work - its too much of a punch up at the moment …but i was having fun with it!
you beat the sharks 10 - 2! …you can basically run the ball into the net at the moment!..so i need to sort that out!
Spain won it. Completely shut down Argentina, Emi Martinez was carrying so hard for them.
Argentina were smothered by Spain …just like France. Not a great watch really as Argentina hardly had a kick til 5 minutes to go. But i’m glad Spain won - few too many dirty tricks and Argie Bargie from Argentina …and they won it last time!
