Changing the size of a tiled sprite with events doesn't work

So whenever I try to use an event to change the size of tiled sprite, it makes it look like it’s longer but you just fall through it.

So visually, it works, but the hitbox is not resized?
Can you make a quick example project to demonstrate the issue? And I’ll forward it to the devs to get it fixed.
