Copiable animations

Improve animation:

What: a way to duplicate animations in editor.
Why: sometimes I need to make a new animation based on an existing one, but I always need to import the images again.

You should check out this topic, Luni was asking about animation-related feedback.

I have a similar request but moving/dragging sprites between animations.

Hey y’all!
As Gruk said, please feel free to add your videos to this topic. I’d like to see how you manage your animations, animation frames… so we can come up with a more efficient way to do it.
Yours are the use cases that I’m looking for.

Hi There!
I see this is an old post, but I’ve found a way to do this.

  1. Open your base animation in Piskel.
  2. Open the ‘save’ tab.
  3. Download your animation as a .piskel file.
  4. Open your blank animation.
  5. Press on ‘import’ and drag your .piskel file into the tab.
  6. Your animation should load. Then make all the changes you want!
