my game was working perfectly, all i added was Sfx and music and when gdevelop got updated. it broke the interactions with the cursor and icons, i deleted the sfx and music and tried again and it still didnt work.

Keep in mind I filmed this not knowing I would need it later. In this version you xan see the buttons on each spot that are clicked work properly.
