“Every [BYTE] Sucks!” is permanently canceled due to personal issues and such.
Yeah, I plan on shortening the description and adding a section in the main menu that tells you the controls for the game
Thank you for the feedback though and I am really happy that you are enjoying the randomness of the splashtext!
Minor Update 1
Changelog
- Added Controls Section of Main Menu (So you can see the controls)
- Added 2 New Splash-text
- Removed the ability to sprint
- Shortened the description on gd.games
Sorry, I know this is off-topic, but I should really add splash text to games I make! It’s just too cool ![]()
I will try your game later and give feedback!
Thank you and no need to apologize, the splashtext is mainly taking inspiration from Minecraft as I enjoyed the references and meta commentary that they offered lol
Due to feedback, I learned that some people would like a tutorial for EBS (Every [BYTE] Sucks!) as well as others not understanding much of the UI (I am at fault for this as I didn’t put much detail or description into what each UI Element is) I’ve decided to set up a Documentation for the game!
I will work on it every now and then with more information on the game and stuff related to the UI so people can look at it and such
(basically like one of those physical game guides from back in the day)
But these will (hopefully) be beneficial!
Also I will allow people contribute to it within time!
Minor Update 2
Changelog
- Updated Description on gd.games
- Added Evaluations Menu
- Created Documentation
- Updated Controls Menu and changed it to Info Menu
- Cleared Out Leaderboards
- Added 4 New Splash-Texts
Minor Update 3
Changelog
- Added 2 new Splash-text
- Fixed Game-Breaking bug
- Added Exit button to Pause Menu
The 5th Update will be the first named update and also will work on optimizations, changes, additions, removals, and fixes!
BTW Once this update is out, the documentation will be under maintenance
The Game will no longer be in development as of now and is permanently canceled.
again!?
come on bro!
I’m using what Ive learned and what I know people have enjoyed from my previous failed projects to hopefully do something that I can stay committed to
My biggest problem in terms of these things rn is committing to them
I struggle with committing a lot. That’s why I make templates! Once one is published, I can completely forget about it and never have to work it again! (Until it requires an update because someone found a giant bug that ruins the whole game…) ![]()
So sorry about that, but what’s that bugs about?
