I’m not sure how nobody has mentioned THIS UNFORGETTABLE BANGER (Aria Math from Minecraft)
Also a ton of songs from Geometry Dash that technically aren’t "OST"s but are still SO GOOD ![]()

Well, I’m not a gamer but here we go, I love the Stardew Valley music.
Really catchy ![]()
As a Roblox player, Bloody Devastation and Ultrasonic Faith (from Grace) are my favorite OST.
Chun Li stage music from Street Fighter 2, menu screen music from the Spectrum version of Dragon Ninja.
Chris Huelsbeck, the musician who wrote the music for the Turrican games, had the idea of reworking his music for orchestra.
I’ll have to find that video again ==> Turrican 2 The Orchestral Album - vinyl LP collector face D (Chris huelsbeck prod)

On the term of stuff that isn’t OSTs but is still good, have you heard of an UST song?
OST = Original Game Soundtrack
but UST = UNOriginal Game Soundtrack (meaning the guy uploading the song to youtube made it, not the actual game’s team)
I usually see videos of these for Deltarune. Here’s some examples, they’re pretty good:
Isn’t that just a remix?
Or it’s recreating the whole ost, I guess an album worth of remixes/covers?
Nah, I’m just stupid, my bad, never played Deltarune so I wouldn’t recognise most of the music, tell if any music is from the original game.
Haven’t heard of UST’s before, though I have heard of people remixing or adding lyrics to OSTs ![]()
I never player Turrican but the music sounds lovely! There’s been quite a bit of live orchestration of gaming music recently …Below,
is a BBC Philharmonic event in Manchester in 2024…£6.50 at ticket!..very reasonable! the target audience audience presumably being middle class parents, like myself, who dream of dragging their kids kicking and screaming from their bedrooms …and throwing some high brow culture at them. My kids wouldn’t touch this sort of thing with a barge pole …even on youtube.

Me too, Dave, i don’t play Turrican anymore.
It was a long time ago, in the 90s, on Amiga.
How impressed I was when I first heard this music.
The Bitmap Brothers game GODS had some interesting music done by John FOXX, the effects on music (voice) by the late Richard JOSEPH.

The theme from the Gameboy version of Tetris, it was actually released back in 1992 by Doctor Spin.
