Extensions extend the capabilities of the engine by adding new actions, conditions, expressions, or behaviors through classic events, although JavaScript can be used too.

Official Extensions
These respect the Best Practice Guidelines and are fully reviewed to ensure maximum performance and compatibility across different versions of GDevelop and the extensions themselves. They can be found directly within the engine. See how to install an officiel extension.
The Community List
The community list is not reviewed; these extensions are community and creator-based. There may be bugs, or they could be totally non-functional; keep these risks in mind when using them. Please refer to each extension’s creator to request improvements.
Finding Extensions
The community list is a good place to find and share extensions. They don’t get pushed into oblivion by other topics (as can happen in this forum), and the list is easier to search.
Adding Extensions
You can add your own extension to the list without going through a review process.
