I know what the problem is. If you start a scene from an external layout, all the objects in that layout would spawn on the scene.
Next time, try starting the scene from the scene itself, not from an external layout

This is a more rational explanation; it’s true that launching the game from an external layout causes object duplication on the scene. It’s better to launch your game from a scene.

If objects are called from an external layout, you won’t find them by their names in your event sheet.
yes that’s a very good point. so in this scene there are no groups or external layouts called where this button sits. It does sit in one scene group but that group can not be called as it’s in an another scene.

To clarify, I start the game from the original scene, and where the error objects are showing up, that’s another scene.

I’ve raised this in another thread but no response so hoping to get some help from the official GDev peeps here.
Issue: GDev Analytics stopped showing Sessions and other data.
Is this a glitch, or I’ve done something wrong with the settings? I thought that the native GDev Analytics doesn’t need any set up and always works when game is played from the link… but mine stopped showing any sessions (even though I use the link to play to test).
I actually want to get some credits to get more players to play the game, but can’t imagine investing if I can’t see any Analytics data.
Anything obvious I need to check here for Sessions to start showing again?
The game is public, not sure if that matters.
Maybe you are using the test link?
Wait so your problem is that you are playing your game but the sessions is not showing it?
Maybe try sharing the link here, so we can play it, then see if the sessions rise up.

Hmm, I’m using the one that shows where you go to the Create tab. Not Preview.
