You started with machine language? I think you probably started with basic and moved on to assembly language…which is sort of what I did many many moons ago so I think that’s probably false. Ten computer games…I can’t remember how many I made in the 80s I don’t remember finishing any and If I add up what I’ve done with Gdevelop it’s less than 10. I’d say true there but it think you’ve forgotten about some of them. Never had more than 2 computers …gonna go with false as I’ve got at least 3 old laptops gathering dust in the loft and I think that you’ve forgotten all the dusty corners where you had an old laptop squirreled away. On Gdevelop more than the forum? Hmmm … …you’ve not been on the forum that much recently l. Have you added it up? I don’t know …true?

I hath composed such a song of pure insanity, with a 5:32(?) polyrhythm, a detune from A=440hz to A=432hz, 4 bars of 7/4 followed by a bar of 4/4,and tempo changes from 80 to 150 to 50 to 100 in a 3-minute song (that I will extend).
Tell me what you think please. (unfinished, as you can see by the “U3”. that U stands for “update”)

For the 1) i began with langage machine
TRUE: and well, i really began with machine langage on TRS 80 model 1’s clone: “Video Genie”. It’s however true that a few time after, i also used the TRS 80’s Basic 1 (or 2) and i tried to mix Basic programs and machine routines.
Sorry, i can’t give you the point here.
For the 2) i did’nt have 2 computer at the same time
FALSE: I had more than 1 computer at the same time.
The first, it was in 84. I had Apple IIe and Commodore 64.
The second, in 1992, i had during many months an Amiga 500 and 1200.
So, i give you the point here.
For the 3) i am any further on GDevelop than on this forum
FALSE: Generally, i am continually on the forum, except lately as you said.
However, recently i was not present on GDevelop and on this forum.
Sorry, i can’t give you the point here.
For the 4) i created less than 10 games in my life
It’s true and false.
FALSE: i have not really counted the number of games i made but, if i take in account the very small games i did since more 40 years, i am over 10 games made.
TRUE: with games engine, perhaps 5 or six but very few all completed.
So, i give you the point here.

It’s great - You need to get the detune as the player snuffs it. It’s very scratchy sounding - perfect for 8bit retro chaos. It’s nice that the time sig changes keep it interesting. I’m a cubase using old fart …due to having been in bands years ago …so that’s what i use, caus i know how to use it!

Thanks. Believe it or not, I do not intend to use this in a game, as a lot of the time I release music by itself (music is my biggest passion, honestly). I use AbyssBox (a BeepBox mod) because I’ve used BeepBox and BeepBox mods since about 2020-ish, and honestly, it’s just really easy to use imo. For some of the scratchy sounds, I used the built-in bitcrush. I also used echo on a couple of instruments. I’ve been making music or some form of it since I was about 6 years old (I did not get to any form of good until I was 11 in 2023) and a lot of my chiptune is inspired by Toby Fox.
It did sound quite Toby Fox - i quite like some of his stuff …My son plays loads to me …listen to this! ahhh …ok…listen to this …and ill play him Captain Beefheart or something

Hahaha, I am a really big Deltarune fan, so if you hear him talking about a “pluey” or “friend inside me” or “togore dreemurr” or a multitude of other things, that’s just the community. Saying they’re kind of weird is a major understatement. As someone once said, Deltarune’s community is like a bunch of bugs in a jar and when Toby Fox feeds them a new chapter they stay sane for about 12 seconds before going insane again lol
