Game demos, would like ideas or feedback

Hello!
It’s been a while since i’ve actually used GDevelop but I finally have free time and have been wanting to get back into game development, I found some unfinished projects all which seem to be simple game demos with no actual gameplay, story or anything really, i’m not very creative and i’m a bit rusty so if somebody has ideas for what to do with these or simply just general feedback I would love to hear it,
thank you!

Hello!

heres my feedback/comments

this game was nice, but i cant pick up the gun idk why, also it keeps freezing.

this games graphics were awesome! Almost a picture perfect horror game!

this game im not sure what it is, two pictures of girls asking which do you remember i cant click any button also.

this game i enjoyed the most, i really love the raycasting! it was pretty awesome lol.

Ive noticed as well most of ur games have a speciality in lighting and ray casting, keep up the good work!

  1. Couldn’t figure out what to do, but like the light system
  2. LOVE THOSE GRAPHICS AND LIGHTING! You really should have made a game for the 3D Single Scene Jam, you could have won!
  3. Again, couldn’t figure out what to do. VERY NICE Graphics though, I’m starting to see that you are good with visuals
  4. Love the light raycasting! Could be cool for a light puzzle of some sort!

@sdsadas, you are SO good with visuals, which is the exact opposite of what I’m good at, I can’t even draw a triangle that looks good

Hello again!
I found another unfinished game, this one seemed to have a few drastically different iterations so I would like to hear which one you like more as well as any other comments you may have,
thank you!

Hello @sdsadas!

I tested all the 3.
It is well done each.

I think It would be very interessant to the community if you describe all your job to realize effects for each game.

Well done.

Hello!
The aim with the visuals was to replicate retro hardware (old computers, CRT, etc,), for the three games i just posted i mostly just use the built-in GDevelop effects, especifically, CRT, you want to tone down the speed of the scanlines aswell as the noise, add a VERY subtle blur effect and add RGB split which also has to be subtle, this effects only affect 2D Sprites so if you plan on adding 3D components you’ll have to put them below your base layer, If you want to further replicate the VHS effect there is a VHS gif which I like to use as an overlay (I will post it below), you want to put the VHS overlay on a layer that is above every other layer, you want to change it’s opacity to 10% and again you want to add the blur and RGB split, though I will say sometimes it’s better to leave it out, you also want to change the resolution of the project to 640x480, I think that’s everything, thank you for taking interest but if you could I would like to know which of the three games you think was best,
once again, thank you!
Here’s the VHS GIF:
VHS Filter

The second but it’s only my visual preference.
