GDevelop 3.5.74

GDevelop 3.5.74 is available!

Releases notes are available on GitHub: github.com/4ian/GD/releases
Lots of Linux related bugfixes, the new TileMap object is included, and the software was changed as you can notice to GDevelop. Read more on this topic: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=5694

You can download it from the website or github (these are the same files). I’ll activate the automatic update checking in a few hours, do not have the time right now so do not be surprised if the old version says that it is up to date.

Thanks!

You should provide binary zip for Linux users. Not everyone has debian-derived distro and has time to compile GD from sources.

When I try to install the Ubuntu version, I get this error message:

Package Operation failed.

electing previously unselected package gdevelop.

Try to uninstall the previous Game Develop version.

Thanks it solved the problem

Indeed I forgot to explain that any already installed version of Game Develop on Ubuntu must be uninstalled before installing the new one (because of the package name change).

@Darkhog: Binary files on Linux are strongly attached to system libraries. I only distribute a deb file that is working on the latest version of Ubuntu. Sadly, I cannot guarantee anything else because any incompatilibity in a system library make the whole things collapse and nothing works… In pratice, the package works in recent Ubuntu based distro, but I do not provide a zip (or better, a .tar.gz) file because it is not guaranteed to work at all.
